Here's a link for the article I'm sure you've all read. According to this, the Salitron has NOT yet been Medicare approved. It is only a recision of hfca's statement of non-coverage. It still needs to be approved. I doubt they would have assistants stating over the phone that they have approval before an actual press release was issued.
