Mel, The latest advance in computing, ie. personal network computing concept is currently being pushed by the big guns now including Big Mike. Appears that software may be kept on the server and accessed only when needed for these simple machines. If software is only accessed when needed and some sort of currency exchange is required to pay for the access then this would bode well for E-Data . The current move is in this direction for web browsers also I believe. Any thoughts?
