Alex, the "overcommitted" message on the order preview screen does not necessarily mean that your order will be rejected. However, knowing E*Trade's shortcomings, I'd suggest placing your trade over the phone and demanding that they waive the $15 surcharge for phone orders. You might also try customer service (if you don't mind sitting on hold) to get it straightened out ahead of time, but the chances of even getting someone who will understand the issue are slim. If you try that, let me know how it goes. Bob
