I know it is sometimes difficult to interpret a short position and its effect on stock price, but a huge short position represents in general an additional demand for shares in the near future. Shorted shares are increasing the float of a stock. A decreasing price under a decreasing number of shorted shares means that the price drops under a shrinking float.
I would agree with you if we hadn't this continous drop in price and base at 2.5$. However I can't see it. The trend is clearly down.
