Actually, IBM started the sell-off first, hit with a 75,000 block shortly before 3:00. This was followed by sell-offs in INTC and MSFT, etc. According to Reuters, the traders got scared of the big swings shown by, especially, the big cap stocks) and decided to kick out all of their positions. Market is a big herd without leaders. Ibexx
