Malcolm, Excellant post. I think that anyone new to trading should clip it out and re-read it from time to time. Not all market-makers have horns, but neither are they there to bail you out of unresearched , bad positions. Especially on Bulletin Board Stocks, which many times are scams with different names..or numbers with different names. The only professionals who worry about amateurs are "ladies of the night"...know as hookers in some parts of the country. So when you are in a business which is run by two emotions:"Fear and Greed...do your own research, don't get too greedy and then, you won't have as much to fear....you might get the low, from time to time on a trade...but then, if you try to get the high on the same trade you will end up fearful and broke!!! Warren Buffett said it best:::If you are in a poker game for a half an hour and don't know who the "patsy" is...YOU ARE THE PATSY!!!! Good safe and sane investing-trading to all....nysebob2
