Hey, Paul, nice to hear from you. Honest or serious?
I've lost about 22k with my current Intel-position so far - one of my worst moves, if not the all-time-loser. Yes, I agree, Intel is vulnerable - nobody loves Intel anymore. But I'll keep my 1000 shares and 20 lnl au, bought at $6 (oct, 14th.)
Yesterday I tried to buy back some of my CPQ-calls, but my bid was not marketable. Also I tried to buy some Dell-calls, but the Spanish Telefonica did not allow to dial a 1-800-number, and my s**t-broker Dreyfus does not accept Dell-orders over the net. And he gives me no "normal" number. Of course I will move to another broker, but this is not possible before mid of June.
However, I sold a lot of positions before the downtrend had started, so I'm "winning" during these days. Psychologically I see more selling - as I posted before - probably till second half of June.
I agree that a lot of stocks is oversold - but I don't assume that (to use Berney's personalisation) "Mr. Market" acts logically. Movements of 20, 30% are not logic without changing fundamentals. And if pessimismn has got "overhand", we need a few weeks till the majority of investors can again change their minds. Investors are in the middle not more intelligent than every other group, at least not mm's, n'est-ce pas? So they react like a herd of cows. :)
OK - that's not the professional help you was waiting for? I guess, for this kind of advice are other experts here better referenced.
