ICVERIFY is essentially a computer based POS system that consolidates all of the POS functions into one. It is like a POS terminal on steroids.

Instead of a merchant having to have a host of little POS terminals and access lines, the software in the PC consolidates it all. Counter space is a big consideration in small retail operations.

In the case of a small department store with 5 registers the system batches together all the verification phone calls so that if 4 registers are trying to verify 4 different cards at the same time it does them on one call.

The added benefit is that your POS terminal becomes your cash register and collects the sales data at the same time.
