Atiq Raza strongly suggested that there would be markedly higher clock speeds for K7 in the question and answer session during the recent K6-2 intro. Combined with the thermal and cache advantages of the Slot architecture, K7 is shaping up to be a killer product. It will be interesting to see how it shapes up against Willamette (Intel's 7th generation x86 product). Does anyone know when Intel anticipates the introduction of Willamette? I had initially heard that it would appear in the same time frame as Merced, but since that time frame is continually slipping, maybe things have changed. Kevin
