Actually there was a more relevant piece today on the fact that the cost of LCD's is coming down about 40%. Even so you seem to want to make an issue regarding SPD and flat panel displays. This must stem from my post on Yahoo regarding the ADDITIONAL benefit of the black particles (see recent press release) in the area of FPD. Another poster on Yahoo pointed out the huge technology breakthrough this black particle is and NOT just for FPD. Here is my response from Yahoo: I see that just the mention of FPD has brought us posts from our resident nay-sayers. Just to set the record straight, it is premature for ANYONE to determine what the future holds for FPD. Currently LCD has the market for these. Any future for SPD in this area is unknown, but what IS known is that those doing the research for the FUTURE have taken notice of SPD. One could argue the pros and cons of both but that would be a waste of time since the pending commercialization of SPD isn't even in this area. This is just another market which will be ripe for SPD in the future. I appreciate that we have some sound minds that have joined the dialogue that understand what REFR has produced. I, too tire of all the "news" and "links" to supposed competitive technologies that have been around for years and do not pose a threat to the upcoming commercialization of SPD. Hankuk knew ALL about them before they committed to bringing products to market. Vision-Ease (formerly Orcolite) seems undeterred in their quest and the people at MSC still think that SPD is an incredibly revolutionary technology. But as long as we have short sellers/day traders who need to bash the stock I guess we're stuck with people throwing out whatever garbage they think is relevant. The least they could do is explain what this has to do with the future of our company? Otherwise it truly is a waste of time. (Actually boodoggie doesn't mince words and says this more clearly than I can). ND
