Most Windows apps halt when you click down on the mouse and don't let up. Huh? I am not out to Hate MS. I am just fascinated with what is going on with how they can win over and over again with inferior products. Most programmers I know, know that it is inferior, but they have to program it anyway. Most non-programmer types I know don't seem to know that its inferior, which seems to spur the demand. I'm a professional programmer also and write Windows apps becuase I can make a lot of money doing it, and there is a huge market. If all I cared about was the system technology, I'd be writing apps for the NEXT probably. Oh, also. NT seems to run pretty good on production boxes with "known to work hardware". I have used it for on many machines and it behaves more, or less buggy depending on the configuration of the machine. This is true. This is also the reason UNIX and Mac for the most part are more stable - they control the hardware that is supported.
