A post from Web Street Securities
Dear Investors,
Oops, you caught us. Yes, we wear suits and ties during the business day.
On a more serious note I would like to take this opportunity to address some of the postings that I have read on this thread. First of all to those who trade penny stocks; in general penny stocks involve a high degree of risk because they are prone to manipulation, hype and often do not provide liquidity. Also, the rules governing the trading of penny stocks are unfavorable to the investor. We at Web Street do not promote nor suggest this type of investing, nor was our system built to facilitate this type of trading. Therefore, if you trade penny stocks over the internet you may experience slow execution, 100% price variance situations, the inability to enter small fractions, decimals or symbols unrecognized. These penny trading situations do not allow us to provide our 6-10 second executions on most marketable orders and pop-up confirmations that we can on NASDAQ, listed and options exchanges. If you want to trade penny stocks, then it is highly recommended that you call our live brokers at 1-800-web-trade. Doing so will limit any of the above situations that you may have experieced.
On June 15 our new single-click trading page will be launched. This page will allow you to trade directly off of your watchlists, without having to enter symbols or be beholdent to any browser. This system will without a doubt provide the simplest entry and best execution of fills in the industry. It will include time and sales, level two information that opens up in a seperate window and no need for re-entering passwords for trading verifications.
I hope this post will be helpful, please respond with any comments.
