Cisco introduces new product may compete with ASND CBS report Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) surged on positive comments about its new networking product. Cisco introduced a new line of network equpment products expected to give it an edge in the voice, video and data networking market. New York Research analyst Ajay Diwan said the new products significantly enhance the company's portfolio, and will raise its level of competition with Ascend Communications (ASND).
