BILL: I have little doubt gold will rally after the announcement you expect, assuming it actually happens. But the real issues are:

How strong will this rally be?

Will it have legs or just give the shorts another opportunity to massacre naive longs?

In other words will this constitute a major trend change or merely another brief blip up? The 64 billion dollar question to be sure.
