Hello Double E We have news From: Luxor Industrial Corporation <luxor@intergate.bc.ca> Subject: Eastern Canada Progress Report - June 1, 1998 Eastern Canada Progress Report Luxor Industrial Corporation wishes to advise progress with builders, retailers and specifiers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In 1997, the Company successfully introduced the IBS 2000 to small retailers and builders throughout Ontario and the Maritime Provinces. For 1998, Luxor focused on contacting the major companies involved in residential construction in the GTA. This was done during the planning season from December 1997 to March 1998. BUILDERS - Of the top 50 builders in the GTA, 8 are currently using the IBS 2000 Load Sharing Floorsystem in major subdivisions. Another 4 of the top 50 Builders (2 of which are in the top 5), have specified IBS 2000 in upcoming projects. These 12 builders account for approximately 8000 housing starts per year. RETAILERS - Approximately 50 Building Materials Retailers in Ontario and the Maritime provinces have purchased IBS 2000 during the past year. Recently, the Company made presentations to Beaver Lumber, the 3rd largest retailer in Canada, and Cashway, the 7th largest retailer in Canada. To date, 5 Beaver outlets and 5 Cashway outlets have purchased the IBS 2000. Three of the largest Retailers servicing the GTA builders have purchased IBS 2000 for the first time in the second quarter of 1998. SPECIFIERS - During the 1998 planning season, the Company contacted 5 architectural firms who specify approximately 60% of the major subdivisions in the GTA. 3 of these firms are currently specifying IBS 2000 in certain projects. The Company is continuing to focus on these large Corporations who account for the majority of residential construction. Luxor recently mailed a builders guide to the top 500 builders in Ontario and will follow with a similar mailing in June to the Maritime Provinces. Luxor is currently implementing a program for the large retail chains. Luxor is exhibiting at the Ontario Association of Architects "EnviroFest '98", a major architect show in Toronto. 400-500 specifiers are expected to attend.
