Chuzzlewit, I don't for a moment believe that DELL is immune from the Asia crisis. It may not happen now, but it will happen, one, two or three quarters down the road. Everyone, or practically everyone will eventually feel the fallout of this Asian nightmare. If you believe that Dell will escape untouched then I guess I can't convince you otherwise. The myth of a PC company operating in such a vacuum is untenable. It cannnot happen. Michael Dell is spinning a rosy story for us now, but the time will come. Dell is a great company but just don't put too much faith in the power of one company to defeat macroeconomic reality. IT NEVER HAPPENS. Its the one reality which all businesses accept. The key is to minimize the impact and evolve your business model to adapt to a rapidly changing market place. In Dell's case this may be the server vs. PC (lower end) mix.

By the way, to those you fly off the handle at a slightly negative post. Grow up.

Thanks
Chuckie
