Consider this, many say that the refill rate is not escalating because each time a patient has to renew his prescription it is counted as a new script vs a refill. Using that logic, does it mean that roughly half the new scripts are in fact refills. If so, then Vivus's new scripts may actually be closer to 1,200 scripts per week.
Frightening thought .
