Monty - No that was not the question.

you have provided data on the # of stocks below the 200 dma in the last 30, 20, 10, 5 days.

This provides you a 'moving average' of the # of stocks falling below the 200 dma over time. This moving average can be plotted.

Once plotted, it could be projected into the future to see how many stocks (only # and not which stocks) would fall below the 200 dma say 5 days from today.

If it is still not clear, just ignore it.
