Christine,

With the money I have invested in Ancor - I am dead serious.

IBM has a long standing substantial position. The statement I made was directly from Ancor management. Remember that advanced technology is a two - edged sword. You can be at the cutting edge with your product, but until everybody else catches up - you don't anybody to sell your product to. Every technical person I have talked to who knows anything about FC and Ancor has confirmed that Ancor has an extremely high level of expertise.

If SANs only need class 3 switching that really levels the playing field. But based on public information - I agree with KJ, it comes down to Ancor and Brocade based on backplane architecture. If Craig's information is correct - that probably means there is a new McData switch out there that is also in this league.
