Marengi comments on buyout rumors to Dow Jones (excerpt):
....The software maker also is positioning itself as a ''stand-alone company
going forward,'' said Marengi, the company president, when asked about
repeated rumors of buyout interest from suitors like International Business
Machines Corp. (IBM). The company has significant market share in the
networking software market, with more than 60 million customers, and has more
than $1 billion in cash, he said of its strengths.
Its future also shouldn't be viewed as a head-to-head battle with Microsoft....
