Jerry Matt and all, madd man marty finally found the page. I know that i wasn't much help but me and P* were having some hard times and a few personal headaches at the homefront that i have talked with matt about. 1. with tom, the best way is to fax your ideas to him but keep them short and simple. if he gets 3 similar requests he will take a close look. a lot of us think some things would be easy to add, but if you think about the last time your hard drive crashed or modem hung up, think about putting something into a program....Fredd has enough ideas that would take a few gigs to fill and most of them are good. The reality is most people won't take the time to use them for whatever reason and that is why there are a lot of indicators and tools in programs that look good, but are never used and slow them down. Do your home work to see what fits with your style and then fine tune it. I was at a seminar with sunny Harris who is unbelievable with system writing, (mathamatition etc..) and what she found out is that what may look good in 1 time frame, may not give you the best overall results. With all of the tools etc... out there, she really keeps things simple. I don't know if she practices what she preaches, but she deffinatly makes a good case. Enough for the preaching, I have just spent 1 week from hell fighting with a modem and a new motherboard that worked fine until my son used microsoft works (old ver, doesn't like 95 ver) and all of the theys and thems on the other side of our bad trades entered and has kept numerous techs from the modem co, microsoft , and many other toll calls and bench tops talking to themselves as if they were reading gann non stop for a week and was trying to get it all together at 1 time. Everybody likes passing the buck and says its the other guy but can't walk their talk. I'm putting some mutual fund data into get to see if anything makes sence for some longer term parts of our portfolios. I missed the info on the cleve user group that formed. If anybody could pass some info, i'd appreciate it. Sorry for the long wind but its been a long week. Good trading to all.. Marty |
