Metrowerks, who are supplying PowerPC and MIPS
development tools for QNX, are very well respected
in the business. They got their start making C++ and
Pascal compilers for the MacOS about 4 to 5 years ago.
They are the number one tools vendor in this market. They have
since branched out into the embedded space with tools
for Microware, Windows CE, and now QNX. They also make
compilers for the Sony Playstation and Novell Netware.

Metrowerks is a public company and their stock market symbol
is MTWKF. They haven't been particularly profitable but
they are growing at a pretty healthy clip. The most interesting
thing about Metrowerks is how depended other companies are
becoming on Metrowerks for their survival.
