I hope Bob had a chance to watch C-SPAN2 tonight. Might change his mind about y2k. Interesting panel discussion. Seems like most large corporations are making attempts to find out how 2000 will affect them but the smaller companies don't have the resources to even look. Companies who are "feeders" of parts and information may not be ready, and the companies who had solved their problems will be weighted down by the non-compliant. Government is way behind and could be one of the largest problems. Too many waiting too long, with not enough time to solve the problems. Europe is deep into converting to the EURO, and not interested in y2k. Can they do both at once? Not a very pretty picture.
