Interesting story on the news today regarding the Y2K situation. The jist of the story was that Pres. Clinton was being urged to take the state of the Y2K problem directly to the American people. The suggestion was to do it in a FDR fireside chat style address. It is also being suggested that both the Federal and LOCAL needs be addressed. This type of address could be beneficial to USTI. These suggestions are coming from the commerce dept and from the news report The administation has responded favorably.
