McLEAN, Va., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 18, 1996, Systems of Excellence, Inc. (OTC: SEXI) filed a periodic report on a Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") announcing certain significant developments, including the appointment of new members of the Company's board of directors, a new President and Chief Executive Officer, the re-engagement of independent certifying accountants, an internal inquiry regarding the actions of prior management and the issuance of company stock, and an action filed by the SEC. Mr. Thomas Clines, new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company stated that the SEC's lawsuit relates to facts and circumstances which occurred during the time period when Mr. Huttoe was Chairman of the Board and one of two directors of the Company. Mr. Clines further stated that he was pleased to see that the SEC's action does not seek any monetary damages or penalties from the Company. With respect to possible claims by the Company against persons who may have been involved in any alleged wrongdoing against the Company, Mr. Clines expressed the new Board of Directors' firm commitment to explore all options

MCLEAN, Va. (Dow Jones)--Systems of Excellence Inc. (SEXI) named Thomas Clines president and chief executive and named a new board. As reported Nov. 8, the Securities and Exchange Commission brought an Internet stock manipulation suit against the company and former ___________________________________-chairman and chief executive, Charles Huttoe. Huttoe took an administrative leave of absence last month. In a press release, the company said Huttoe also was one of its two directors. Systems of Excellence said it began an internal inquiry into the actions of prior management. As reported, the company hired the auditing firm Feldman Radin & Co. to re-audit its Form 10-KSB for the fiscal year ended Feb. 29. The company said the SEC action does not seek monetary damages or penalties from the company. The board is commmited to ''exploring all options'' available to take aggressive action, wherever appropriate, to pursue its ''rights and remedies'' and act in the best interest of the company and its shareholders.
