<I recent heard from the street talks that AMD "might" implements 128-bit data bus towards SLOT A architecture. With both 200Mhz bus and 128-bit data bus, K7 on SLOT A will be able to outperform PII on SLOT 2 even K7 is two core speeds behind PII.> What would stop Intel from expanding their bus to 128 bits? What woulk stop them from raising the speed to 266mhz? I think the notion of SlotA being superior is a falicy. The P6 GTL+ bus will scale very nicely and not take a backseat to SlotA. EP
