To give everyone a clue as to how big this technology is,
according to today's IBD (Investor's Business Daily) "Sprint
has applied for 1,000 patents related to the technology,
which uses wireless and conventional networks."

Today's announcement is huge; however, the real benefactors
IMO will be Cisco and Lucent who acted as direct consultants to
Sprint.
