later on an update they talked to richard woo. just caught the end but he said something about only making it on one of three areas and this would not be good for the stock-did anyone catch his full comment and what firm is he from? I didn't catch which firm he's from, but his questions focused on RAS, LAN-Vivid, and competeition with Fore/LU in the OC-48 arena. He could have been referencing the fact TM was clear about their leadershiip in WAN and perhaps he wanted more verbosity about the other two. thalia kingsford (vp at nesbitt burns) said that the results were at the low end of expectations and to look for some weakness tomorrow. She asked a question about the rebirth of TDM at POPs and ISPs and then when TM asked her to clarify what she meant, she admitted she hadn't done enough background to pursue her question further. As for whisper expectations, I wasn't on anyone's grape-vine and was merely expecting 0.13. Ms Kingsford needs to keep in mind every penny tacked onto the quarter just announced is one that has to be exceeded next quarter. Were I the management, I'd hold back any excess to help guarantee controlled earnings growth. Just a thought. Pat
