Thanks for the complement. BTW, I am not an AVEI shareholder but am considering buying some. It was through the AVEI thread that I followed a link to ABMI. Since I doubt ABMI is anyone's acquisition candidate, there is really no need to answer your question about taking AVE stock.

Keep in mind there is a big difference between having a small room with two people building catheters and a well-oiled, low-cost approach building hundreds of catheters a day. Also, who told you that catheter breakage is a big problem? We are talking about a six-sigma statistical outlier here; there have been tremendous process improvements in the industry over the past 8-10 years - breakage is not an issue. Even if a catheter does break it does not necessarily give rise to a patient safety issue since harmless saline is used in the catheters. Check out Oh Great One's post he seems to think allergy is the point.
