Most Windows apps halt when you click down on the mouse and don't let up.

Huh?

OK, after trying this on most of my newer apps, they don't appear to do this. Maybe its just the 16-bit ones, or maybe the older ones didn't bother to do threading right. When I move them they come to a complete stop until I let off the mouse button.

I'm a professional programmer also and write Windows apps becuase I can make a lot of money doing it, and there is a huge market. If all I cared about was the system technology, I'd be writing apps for the NEXT probably

I can make money programming anything. I could probably make decent money programming palm pilot apps, or Linux. The most important thing to me is that I like to come to work everyday. Right now I am porting NT code to Unix and this makes me happy.
