Mike and Worswick,
"About 600 billion dollars a year is going to the United States, supporting the economy of the world's largest debtor nation."
I find it hard to believe that $600 billion a year has flowed into the US markets from Japan. For how long? I'm not sure where to start doing the math, but surely that is impossible. What is the capitalization of our entire market? Not even $10 trillion yet, last time I saw the numbers. What is the capitalization of the bond market? Bigger than equities, but I'm not sure by how much, and don't know where to find out.

Any comments on this remarkable claim?
