There may be an upside to all the Sprint news. Perhaps, it will accelerate RBOC deployment of cheap ADSL as a countermove.

I suppose Pair would supply the headend modems that the RBOCs would need. It's not terribly encouraging that PAIR gave away the Falcon but then I suppose selling computer modems is not its strong suit. Hopefully more consumer modems would mean more modems at the headend.
