OS 360. The word in the computer industry (although this was before my time) was that every computer science grad student in the country had a piece of OS 360. I hope that's not the case with Merced. No, I know it's not. BTW, the chief architect of OS 360 was Dr. Gene Amdahl. He sort of made it with a startup later on.
