Did anyone catch NBC Nightly News last night. I only caught the tail end. But per my wife, listening while the baby was making all sorts of noise, Tom Brokaw ran on lengthy segment on auto safety.

In it, they reported that a substantial percentage of vehicles sold in the US are trucks and SUV's, which present a number of safety concerns when they are involved in accidents. They then interviewed Linda Raspusin (sp?), the driver of a BMW which was involved in a violent high speed accident with a truck. She was broadsided and saved by the HPS in her car. She stated that she believed the technology now exists to save more lives.

Did anyone out there see the full story?

Regards,

Keith
