Okay, all of your blowing hot air and huffiig and puffing and (non) peer pressure has finally dragged it out of me. MSFT has produced, not announced, but produced as of late: - Visual Source Safe: microsoft.com - Visual Basic Control Creation Editon: microsoft.com - Visual J ++ - Access 97 with live web db capabilties and connectivity via wizards: microsoft.com - Outlook 97 (yes it has shipped to manufacturing): - 2nd revision of Front Page since the latest Live Wire product came out: - Internet Studio (yes I do have a copy) - Music producer - Image composer - active page server - IIS 3.0 (if I'm not mistaken, is eveloving faster than its enterprise server competition) - Excel - Word - Power Point (yes, the new office stuff has FULL fledged web capabilities, check them out before you start mouthing off) - Publisher - Net Show (2nd beta) came out before NSCP' Live Media's 1st beta - Active X agenta - unanswered by NSCP - I think NSCP beat MSFT to the punch on the merchant, news and proxy servers, but there site is not repsonding well so you can check it out yoruself. - SQL server - Net Meeting has advancing faster than cool talk The flurry of products from MSFT doesn't reflect that they are a better company, just a bigger, more established one. But you accuse me of everything under the sun when I refuse to look up individual products and post them. They are more products on both sites, but the NSCP site is not responding and i truly don't feel like it. I feel my point is proven though. The vast majority of products posted above relfect products that are either developing faster that NSCP's products or are totally unanswered.
