Robert, I am talking about leveraging Alamo (borrowing against it), not using the funds that were brought in by the new partner.

Westrend would be able to leverage against their interest in the resultant entity, WITHOUT the partners approval, unless explicitly removed as an option in the JV agreement, which I doubt was done (Mark is a guy who likes to keep as many of his options available as possible). With the debt load gone, from Alamo, it means that there would be no competing creditors either, if they were to use it as collateral for financing.

Again, I stress, I am only presenting possible options and the leveraging of Alamo should still be an available option. That doesn't however, necessarily mean that it is the path that will be pursued.

Salut,
Leigh McBain
