I must be a horses behind to lose you.. somtimes I am far from eloquent in my explanations..

I had not heard that fundies are limited to cash side puts.. In fact if you think about it, that is one reason why you trade the futures right? It would make sense for fundies to want futures puts, and I am sure that there are current contract puts in place as well?

What I was referring to about PREM, is it seems to effect the movement on the DOW more obviously than the point change in the S&P.. So like today where the PREM went positive +.8 and the DOW immediately went up 8 points or so, but the S&P changed by a point or less.. So the PREM is less obvious to see change than the DOW, of course this is due to size of the beast. Thats all I meant by that..

Now what do you think the topic of Springer will be tonite? Your gin game is tonite, didnt you tell me that you fund your futures trading with the winnings in gin? lol
