Russia could be very good long-term investment. However, one needs
to be a contrarian; Russian market is extremely cheap; moreover, the
major Russian industries export commodities which are themselves at
multiple-year lows. Recent asian turmoil brought a glut of oil and
weakness of commodities. Russia will rise, I believe, with the
rise of commodities. That same thing might cause US bear market
(negative pressure on Russian stocks) -Vi
