I was on the Launching Pad FTEL chat last night... and the subject came up again about the current share float for FTEL... I reminded everyone that I had done a share count last year and came up with over 3.7 million shares held by people watching the SI boards.
So, it seemed everyone was interested in knowing the current float, so I volunteered to do another FTEL SHARE COUNT. This time, I'm also going to post on Yahoo and see if we can find additional shareholders. I will post the results on both boards.
All you need to do is send an email to me --- DON'T POST your information here!
EMAIL to MAUNGER@INAME.COM.
Include the following:
the number of shares of FTEL,
the number of shares of FNET,
long or short term holder,
target price for selling (not required),
and Yes or No if you responded to me last time (which will help me work the spreadsheet faster).
If you'll put FTEL in the title, it will get filtered to a special folder and will be easier for me to count.
I assure all information (except the total for everyone who sends email) will ONLY be seen by me. Nobody saw any of the numbers from the last share count. I can assure you this will be completely private. The point is not to know details, it is to know the total! I will post my totals before the market opens for the next several days.
Please try to have your info to me by COB Sunday.
Why am I doing this and why would you want to participate? Well, we've all known there are a large number of people who read this thread and don't participate (which is OK!)... and we've always thought there was a relatively small float on FTEL... with insiders (like Frank) holding a large chunk of shares... So, it just seems to be very intriguing to me to know how many shares are held by 'US' and the only way to know that is to ask and count.
Again: I PROMISE to NOT LET ANYONE SEE YOUR SHARE INFORMATION... I know this is very private information and I wouldn't compromise your trust.
If you think this idea is silly, then please don't send me data and don't waste tons of time flaming me here... If nobody participates, I'll shut up.
This includes the little people. I know there are probably several 'big fish' lurking here, but the people with the small number of shares count too... so please let me know no matter how small or big your holdings are!
