AXCESS Inc. Subsidiary Announces Technology Agreement with Rofin-Sinar
DALLAS, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- AXCESS Inc. (Nasdaq: AXSI - news; formerly Lasertechnics, Inc.) announced today that its subsidiary, Lasertechnics Marking Corporation (LMC) signed a global distribution and technology agreement with Rofin-Sinar UK Ltd, (Rofin) a subsidiary of Rofin-Sinar Technologies, Inc., (Nasdaq: RSTI - news).

According to the contract, Rofin will supply LMC with their new range of proprietary diffusion cooled low power CO2 lasers for the worldwide packaging market. In addition, the Companies will cooperate in the continuing development of LMC's line of BlazerJet(TM) and Blazer 6000 CE(TM) laser marking systems. Further, Rofin will cooperate in distribution of LMC products in Europe and the Pacific Rim.
