Capitol Hill is churning, burning, itching to peel back the layers of subterfuge. This is going to get real ugly, but hey, it's Washington after all. And Bonn/Berlin ain't gonna even talk about this issue until after their elections are over. If then. And they thought absorbing the East was a toughie...The EU says no to any general action, as it would take a good two years just for the legislation to wind its way to the Council of Ministers. That leaves it to the Member States to act individually. And here we thought EC telecom dereg and the Euro conversion was a challenge. Better stock up on the Leonida now... K
