The difference in 3-D is amazing.

I keep following the 3-D world, and am amazed at what passes for "realistic". Most of the stuff I see is blocky, single color shapes. Sure, the graphics boards can process this stuff, and it is easy to create. What I find most promising about Synthonics is that they can make the 3-D object out of a real object--and quickly. Some of the slow acceptance of 3-D is due to these blocky shapes. Once we see real shapes, with their multitude of colors and flaws, then 3-D will replace 2-D overnight. nvidia is an excellent partner to have, and their association will really help move real-image 3-D into the forefront.
