Mark, I am not sure where you get your numbers from, but in the real world here in the Dallas consulting arena, I can name AT LEAST 10 companies who use Oracle's server as compared to Informix.... Hell that may be a n exageration, because I can name but a few (and none who's business is run entirely on IFMX) who use Informix, and literally hundreds who use Oracle!!! So go on and spout about Informix's product, but reality is that Oracle is the #1 Relational Database Server in the market place, and Informix is a DISTANT second..... And as far as The Illustra technology, name me one application of it other than Aerospace (NASA) , who needs, or can even use this technology to its advantage.... Ernie
