Lawrence,
>The big variable is the property line
You are quite right.....on all points. PPE is particularly tough to assess, especially when you don't really understand the actual mix of property vs plant vs. equipment dollars. I've been arbitrarily using .60-.75 cents on the PPE dollar which is a bit like using a railroad spike to sew a wedding dress.

I think you're right that KMAG will need to raise more capital and I'll definitely wait to see how much and what kind of deal. How much they need will depend on their foward marketing focus.....I anticipate they will actually focus and not go off the deep end.

HMTT isn't the only one. You got to wonder how Maxtor did it, how SAE/TDK keeps doin' it, and wonder of wonders, how IBM is doin' it. It would seem that the upstarts have had the best of it this last year. Maybe they just put their noses to the manufacturing grindstone. I have noticed that HMTT has done almost exactly what they said they would do so I have a hard time faulting them. What will become interesting is if KMAG gets focused on HMTT's particular markets.

Best Regards.....Tom
