And, if you read the article you posted you will note that the focus is on the hospital personnel, not patients. Hospitals are more interested in saving money than a 1 in 1 million (exageration) allergy victim. In addition many, many catheters are made out of P.E. and not latex. So please tell me again why there is a big market. Don't bother with hollow, bold statements: back it up with facts and statistics. Just how big is the demand for non-allergenic catheters in the U.S. and in which surgical procedures will they be used? How many of those procedures are done a year? Also, please explain just why AVE would be interested in ABMI's catheters? AVe's stent is already mounted on a catheter. Just where is AVE's product portfolio weak?
