Max, If been looking at International Comfort Products Corp. (ICP). They design manufacture and market central air conditioning and heating systems for residential and light commercial use. Among its brand names are Arcoair, Comfortmaker, Heil and Tempstar. They are a major supplier of units sold by Sears. In 1994 CEO Michael Clevy took over and started aggressively restructuring the company with a focus on cost cutting, improved distribution and better products. There distribution system is now so good that the company(which generates free cash flow of 40 to 50 mil per year)may consider taking over firms with good products but less effective distribution.
