Why do you think it will rally to such heights over the short term? It seems like expansion of semi plants in Asia is substantially slowed, and although there is transition to smaller sizes, it is not be happening a blazing speed, so there does not seem to be a reason to see strong earnings surprise in the next quarter. As noted elsewhere, some of the other equip makers, like AMAT and KLAC are getting hammered. What is to drive us to something near 30? (of course the same question could be asked for last rally to 30 that was followed by fall to 15.75). Are you suggesting that something in fundamentals will drive short term surge, or mostly optimism for the potential, fueled by traders and momentum, like last move to 30.
