Seems like you the resident stock expert here on this thread.
There are many people on this thread that have shown an acumen for stocks. I am by no means an expert, and when I'm wrong, I'm really wrong...word of warning.

Re: INTC. May be at 75 in December, but will definitely break 100 this year. A monopoly/franchise with 50% margins and reliable, predictable growth cannot be denied. This is a classic INTC dip and those who can stomach a little bad news will profit handsomely from the current paranoia. The summer is weak on earnings, but that is already built into estimates, and my opinion is that if INTC was going to pre-announce a warning, it would have already happened. My feeling about Merced is that the Pentium II market is still growing and they aren't in any hurry to ruin a good earnings workhorse. In other words, milk the profits in this product before you retire it and force people to upgrade. Also, with Microsoft introducing new software soon (Vaporware 98), they are going to get additional buying they would not normally get at this time of year. There is also Comdex in October to push the stock into a euphoria phase...we are near a bottom and 85 is a given. 100 is tougher to prove, but easily possible.

ASND: It's got to get through 50 before I believe 70.
