Here is a good link that I use for satellite communications. It lists existing and future satellite communications systems, their technology, and how to acquire equipment and how it works. This is a good reference point to start. I am considering a high speed satellite link for internet access from a boat at sea and an RV moving around the US. satphone.com jack
