All: I'm guessing that chip makers in general have farther to fall, as the remainder of the analysts issue their lowered earnings estimates. And illogically, TXN may fall a bit further in sympathy. Just a theory.

So, has anyone kept count of how many analysts have lowered earnings forecasts for INTC or other bellwethers? And how many more lowered-estimate shocks might be in store?

I'm very tempted to double my position in TXN at 48, but I think I'll wait a while longer. I suspect the first good news won't come until 2Q earnings are announced July 21. Again, all IMO.
